Slavonice, Czech Republic

Slavonice, Czech Republic

I'm really happy that I've just found this incredibly small, but beautiful city. The population of only 3,000 people! The buildings that surround the main square are dating from the 14th to 16th centuries, the oldest dating to 1545 ! The renaissance character of the town is due to a period of extreme wealth in the 14th to 16th century when Slavonice were an inportant town on the route from Prague to Vienna. So thank you Prague and Vienna for this nice city ! ; )
