   The castle is in Helsingør city. Located between Sweden and Denmark. Founded in 1420. Now, inside the castle you can visit Maritime Museum and the longest hall in Europe which has 62 meters. You can also visit really beautiful old houses in the port town.

   Archipelago in the Norwegian Sea. It is rally beautiful region. Viking settlement in the Middle Ages.  The truth is that I am really keen on it ! Mountains, sea, beautiful houses... We can only wish better weather there. The biggest island is Austvågøy. Lofoten population is only 25,000.

   It's a small city located in Kalmar - near Baltic sea. With the population of 35 000 people. The oldest traces of the town comes from 1255. In the city is one of the longest road - bridge in Europe (At 6,072 meters long) name of this bridge is Öland Bridge. The city has got also nice buildings like historic town hall, historic cathedral or beautiful Kalmar Castle. Curiosity - in Polish name of the city - Kalmar - means squid ;).

   The Kalmar Castle is in Kalmar city. The origins of the castle date back to the seventh century. July 20, 1937 at the castle contains the file Kalmar Union by the rulers of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.

THE CREST

   Turku is the oldest city in Finland. Once it was the capital of the country. The name of city comes from Slavic language tǔrgǔ what means market. In thic nice city you can see a lot of monuments but the most known is the Turku Castle. Medieval fortified castle was built in the thirteenth-fourteenth century. Another nice monument is Turku Cathedral.

   I was looking for a nice picture from my trip to Paris. I think that this is nice view where you can also see the sunset on the panorama of the city. Paris is such an amazing place...

   It's really nice city. Was founded by Yermak Timofeyevich's Cossacks in 1585-1586 Lies on the River Tobol. The city used to be called the capital of Siberia. It's really cold city so if you go there you should take some warm cothes ; ) - but I think that the city is worth it.

   Rakvere Castle, Estonia

Rakvere Castle it's a Teutonic castle from the eighth century. Castle lost a lot during the Third Northern War (1700-1721), when the stones of the castle was used by local residents for their own use. Now in the castle is museum and sometimes there held many cultural events.

Bauska Castle, Latvia

   Bauska Castle lies on the rivers  Musa and Nemunėlis in Bauska city. Started building in in 1443-1456 by Livonian Brothers of the Sword (to wikipedia.org). The castle is open to tourists. If you go there in  July you'll can see international festival of medieval music., which takes place in this nice castle.

Trakai, Lithiania

In the village Trakai you can visit the castle on an island. Built at the turn of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries by Lithuanian prince Kęstutis and his sun Vytautas. It's one of the most important tourist attraction in Luthuania.  In the inside of the castle you can visit the museum and sometimes historical reconstructions dedicated to the Middle Ages. I was there so I can say that it is really lovely castle and city with a lot of restourants with Lithuanuan dishes. I recommend! ;)

   Gothic castle from the 15th century. Destroyed in 1655 and 1705 by the Swedes, but was rebuilt.

In 2000 was inscribed on the UNESCO whs list.

   It's one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine. If you like peaceful and quiet cities, Lviv will be perfect. Founded in 12550 by Daniel of Galicia and he called the city Lviv becouse he had a son and his name was Lev (Lev I of Galicia). In 1998 Lviv was inscribed on the UNESCO list. And if you ever go to Ukraine you'll have to see this amazing city !
