Orava Castle, Slovakia
Considered one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia. And I think that we should agree with this statement (I hope I'll show you more Slovak castles). We don't rally know the date of its creation but sources say, and we can assume that it was created after the invasion of Tatars in 1241. The main reason was to secure the eastern border of the country and the protection of the Polish road running, because of its commercial importance - thank you Polish road ! ; ) The castle consists of complexes Medieval-Renaissance.
